Automations

  • Contact form to Bill LiveWhen someone sends the /contact form, GHL tags them msc-contact and emails Bill their name, address, topic and message.
  • Prelaunch emails 1 and 2 ScheduledGHL sends each email to the prelaunch list at its scheduled time.
  • Prelaunch emails 3 to 7 Not builtEach is sent from GHL on its date once it is built; email 7 only when the spot count is reached.
  • MSC - Free lessons (sign-up) LiveWhen someone signs up on /free, GHL sends lessons 1 to 3 to them three days apart, and skips anyone on the prelaunch list.
  • Member access on purchase DraftGives a new member access to the course when they pay. Stays a draft until Stripe is connected.
  • Member access on cancel DraftEnds a member's access when they cancel. Stays a draft until Bill answers what happens to access after cancelling (see Questions for Bill).
  • Checkout receipt GHL default, unverifiedAfter payment, GHL sends its standard receipt; we have not customised it and cannot check it until Stripe is connected.
  • Month-13 price change ManualFrom month 13 a founding member's price moves to $27 a month or $247 a year; FableForge changes it by hand with Bill, and nothing happens automatically.

Questions for Bill

  1. Reply time. We built /contact and its confirmation to say only that Bill answers every message himself, with no timeframe, because none was supplied. The data-request line on /legal is left open for the same reason. Confirm that is how you want it, or give us a timeframe (for example, "within two business days") and we will add it to both.
  2. Access after cancelling. We built the Cancelling section of /legal with monthly members cancelling anytime and annual members stopping the renewal before the next billing date. One line is left open on /legal: what happens to a member's access afterwards. Tell us what happens (for example, whether access runs to the end of the period already paid), and we will fill the line in.
  3. Refunds on renewals. We built the refund line as a full refund within 30 days of the signup date. /legal leaves open whether that also covers a renewal charge, and whether a refund ends the membership. Tell us both, and we will fill the line in.
  4. Launch lessons. We set up the members' course with three sections (Get It, Grow It, Keep It) and will load the 37 launch lessons for you. Please send the lesson files in whatever form you have them (videos, documents or text), with the pillar each belongs to and its order, so we can load and check them before 2 Nov. We need them by about 20 Oct, so loading and checking finish before launch.
